Why Are All the Great Innovators Producing Live Events?

The first thing anyone knows about live virtual events is that it’s a small miracle when they make a profit.

All the pieces have to fit together perfectly: the tech, the gear, the creative, the planning, the execution. If any part of it fails, then you’ve just spent thousands of dollars on an empty Zoom call with bad lighting.

So, if making money from live events is that hard, why do titans like Tony Robbins, Brendon Burchard, and Grant Cardone keep going back for more? Why do they invest the time, money, and resources when it would be so much simpler to just launch a new campaign every few months?

Is it because, when they DO succeed, live virtual events have the power to create enormous profit? Well, yes. Masterclasses and training programs put hundreds of millions into those speakers’ pockets every year.

But live events are about more than just money.

Industry giants  do it because it’s how they stand out as experts in their spaces.

When a speaker gets up onstage, their message becomes secondary to their very presence. Attendees cling to every word. Speakers take on a superhuman quality and automatically earn the admiration and respect of their audience.

It’s not a sales pitch; it’s a rock concert. And it makes you into an expert that people are desperate to learn from.Think about it: If Grant recommended a new marketing strategy, would you consider it? What would you pay for a one-on-one coaching session with Tony?

Now, would you pay the same amount to meet the author of the last Facebook ad you scrolled past? Can you even remember who it was?

The reason you trust Grant, Tony, and Brendon isn’t because they’re rich. They become someone you want to connect to.

When they get up in front of a sold-out audience and captivate the room, they command authority. It’s as if they become one of your close friends. The audience becomes disciples – committed, devoted, advocates for everything the speaker stands for.

It becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy: produce a successful event, grow your audience, produce an even more successful event. If you do that enough times, you become a household name.

The reason you need a live virtual event isn’t to take a chance on a million-dollar production just so that you can make more money. After all, you already know how to run a profitable business; you’ve been doing it for years.

The reason you need a live virtual event is Your audience has been waiting for someone they can connect with, learn from, and follow. It’s time to step onto the stage and become the expert they crave.

One Great Event Can Transform Your Business. So, What’s Stopping You?

Well, that’s a big question, with a lot of very real answers.

I

You don’t want to be another cheesy, low-budget event.

You cringe with second-hand embarrassment at the so-called “masterclasses” other entrepreneurs cobble together from the comfort of their poorly lit basements. The last thing you want is to risk becoming one of them.

I

You don’t have the expertise, the team, or the resources to pull it off

A powerful, professional live event requires hundreds of hours to plan and execute, top of the line technology, and at least a dozen people to keep it running smoothly. It costs thousands of dollars to do it right. And even if you did have the means to produce your own event, there’s no guarantee you’d break even, much less make a profit.

I

Frankly, you don’t WANT to build your production from the ground up.

Imagine investing all that time and money, hiring all those people, renting all that equipment and space. All so you can produce one live event, one time?
Absolutely not.

I

The best technology won’t get sales by itself.

Producing a live event without technical issues isn’t the hardest part. The real challenge is producing an event that sells. You need a solution that gives you more than a seamless live stream; you need a studio experience that supports your goal to run a profitable event.

What Our Clients Have Said

Frequently Asked Questions

How much do event productions at the studio cost?

Productions start around $10,000 CAD.

How far in advance do I have to schedule my event?

From the time you place your first pre-production call, your virtual event can go live in as little as 2 weeks.

Of course, there are a few variables at play, including studio availability. For the fastest and smoothest turnaround, we strongly encourage you to provide our team access to your existing assets and event program as early in the process as possible. The sooner we can start with planning, design, and asset creation, the sooner you’ll be able to go live.

After your event, delivery of raw footage takes 1-2 weeks, depending on your chosen medium of delivery.

Edited footage for replays or encores can also be done in-house.

Are there any optional add-ons?

Yes! If you’d like to make the most of your time in the studio, our editing team can turn your one-time event into a wealth of replays and content.

Encores & replays: Our editors elevate your footage in post-production to give you high-quality encores and replays, so you can still capture the audience that missed out on your live.

Micro-content package: We can create months’ worth of micro-content from a single event, so that your marketing is easier than ever. Utilize shorter, fast-paced videos in your social media feeds, stories, and ads to generate hype for your brand (and maybe even for your NEXT live event!).

I have production experience and I’d like to be as involved as possible in creating my event. Can you facilitate that?

Our team has the capacity to provide fully comprehensive services for your event. However, if you want to take a hands-on approach to the production process, you’re welcome to be as involved as you like.

Do you do hybrid events?

Yes! When you shoot your virtual event in our studio, we can bring in guest speakers and experts from around the world. All they need is an internet connection, a camera, and a microphone.

Can I shoot my event on-location?

Yes! Let us know what you have in mind during our pre-production call, and we’ll put together a plan to make it happen. Please be aware that due to the logistics involved in coordinating an on-location shoot, this result in a longer pre-production timeline, depending on the environment you’d like to film in.

Can I, as an American or someone from another country, come to Canada to use your studio? What do I tell the customs officer?

Absolutely! International clients are fully supported in coming to Canada to collaborate with us on producing webinars, live sales events, virtual workshops, and more. According to Canadian immigration regulations, particularly Paragraph 187 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR), a Business Visitor is someone who enters Canada to consume products or services for a foreign business. Additionally, Paragraph 186 of the IRPR clarifies that such individuals may work in Canada without a work permit. This means that if you are coming to Canada to avail of our studio services, you qualify as a Business Visitor under these regulations.

When speaking to Canadian customs officers, it’s important to clearly state that your visit is for business purposes related to consuming Canadian services or products for a foreign business. You should mention that your activities align with the definitions provided in Paragraphs 186 and 187 of the IRPR, indicating you are exempt from requiring a work permit as a Business Visitor.

To facilitate your entry, ensure you carry relevant documentation such as a letter of invitation from our studio, proof of employment in your home country, and any other business-related documents that substantiate your visit’s purpose.
