Codie Sanchez on How to Hire and Keep A-Players
Codie Sanchez on How to
Hire and Keep A-Players
In this post, Sanchez shares the 7-step hiring process she uses after making enough bad hires to stop trusting her gut. The core reframe: most founders don’t have a hiring problem, they have a filtering problem. They post a job, get overwhelmed by applicants, and panic-hire whoever seems least terrible by week three. Her framework front-loads the filtering — define the outcome before writing the job description, score every candidate against a strict rubric with no middle scores, and actively hunt A-players daily rather than waiting for the algorithm to deliver them.
Notion Adds Workers to Credits Dashboard
Notion Adds Workers
to Credits Dashboard
Notion Workers is a feature that runs custom code in the background — syncing data between tools, triggering automations, and powering Custom Agent workflows. It’s currently free during beta on Business and Enterprise plans. Notion just added Workers usage tracking to the credits dashboard, so teams can see how much they’re using before billing starts on October 15.
Dan Martell on How to Make Money Online Without a Big Audience
Dan Martell on How to
Make Money Online
Without a Big Audience
In this video, Martell breaks down what he calls the two-engine business model — the magnet (content that attracts buyers) and the money (conversations that convert them). The core argument: most people with large audiences are broke because they never learned the money side, and most people with small audiences assume they need more followers before they can sell. His framework covers four stages — finding your perfect buyer, creating content using a point-story-lesson format, starting conversations with followers directly, and closing through chat.
Google Makes Passkeys Mandatory for Google Ads API Users
Google Makes Passkeys
Mandatory for Google
Ads API Users
Starting August 5, Google is requiring passkeys for anyone generating new OAuth 2.0 refresh tokens through the Google Ads API. Passwords, SMS codes, and authenticator apps will no longer work for this step. Existing refresh tokens are unaffected and don’t need to be reauthorized. The change also affects Google Ads Editor, Scripts, BigQuery Data Transfer, and Looker Studio. Users without a passkey will be prompted to create one — but note there’s a potential seven-day delay before a new passkey becomes fully trusted.
ChatGPT Ads Adds New Features
ChatGPT Ads Adds
New Features
OpenAI rolled out a significant update to ChatGPT Ads, adding conversion-optimized bidding, geographic exclusions, average daily budgets, automatic budget pacing, mobile measurement integrations with AppsFlyer and Adjust, and bulk campaign management via API. Product feed ads are also getting updated cards with pricing and star ratings.
AAnthropic Releases Claude Opus 5
Anthropic Releases
Claude Opus 5
Anthropic launched Claude Opus 5 today — priced the same as Opus 4.8 but significantly more capable. It’s now the default model on Claude Max and the strongest model on Claude Pro. The headline improvement is efficiency: Opus 5 gets better results at lower cost per task than its predecessor, and on several coding and business automation benchmarks it outperforms every other model including Fable 5. It’s designed for everyday use — not just complex long-horizon tasks.
